Perfumery is a perfect fit for me because it combines art and science.
I love painting, fashion, beauty, food and the joy that comes from the act of making. My degrees, Studio Art and Biochemistry along with a Masters in Organic Chemistry, are really all about creating new things and experiences. Think of me as a passionate fine artist that paints pictures with smells — creating iconic moments that resonate with a person’s emotions and memories. You could say that I’m a calculated risk-taker, and Perfumery is where I place all my bets.
I’m exceedingly passionate about what I do and am always on the lookout for the next big olfactive idea, often times in the most improbable places! I’m driven to go above and beyond in my work to transport people — create fragrances that “wow” from the very first moment — and establish new consumer trends. I want people to delight in their love of the innovative smells that I develop — to always prefer to use or wear one of my fragrances because it helps them feel happy and beautiful.
My verve is for crafting scents that are unforgettably marvelous — and making sure that noses everywhere can never get enough of them.

My expertise goes beyond conceiving fragrance stories and helping build holistic brands. In addition to forming P&G’s Perfumer Training Program, I mentored emerging olfactory artists, equipping budding fragrance specialists with a strategic blend of art and science know-how.
I’m also especially honored to be a Victor Mills Society member, awarded for the groundbreaking technological achievements I’ve obtained related to highly specialized processes and executions, as well as their patents. As the first female formulator to be recognized, I hope to inspire more trailblazers in the field of R&D, and help foster the ongoing culture of inventiveness.

By leading the international program, I help proactively identify emerging fragrance and flavor movements – informing and guiding the company in the creation of pacesetting, holistically designed products. It is this integral foresight -- the expert analysis and understanding of subtle shifts and patterns, and the communication of how and why those influences are pivotal -- which helps to deliver irresistible outcomes for consumers.
